I was wondering if it's possible to use imager to calculate the co-localization of signal from 2 different images?
I have immune-fluorescence data showing localization of my protein of interest within a cell followed by images of the exact same cell but showing signal for cellular organelles.
Here is an example below, the set of pictures show:
protein signal
whether the cell is positive for protein (control)
golgi
plasma membrane
nucleus
I was to isolate the area positive for signal in the second photo and use that area to test correlation of signal in 1vs3, 1v4, 1v5.
Sorry if this is beyond the scope of this package or this section. Any ideas welcome. There is a package called colocr which uses imager to sort of do this, but many features are hard coded in and I was looking for a bit more flexibility. Thanks!
