I wish I could join and start a discussion that "we might want to rethink our definition of application" but not sure I'll make it to join this week

sentences that open some questions marks for me:

• An application is any kind of computer program or a group of them
• It MUST be a producer, a consumer or both
• An application MUST also use a protocol supported by the server in order to connect and exchange messages
