Pixel 3 landscape image too large on chapter page

On the Pixel 3 in landscape mode, the project carousel image on the chapter page fills the entire screen which makes it hard to scroll off of.

After all the upgrades we made to Owl, at this point I'd try disabling the JS found in owl.carousel.scroll.js and see if the page scrolls well without being jumpy now. If not, probably the best thing is to create a more nuanced JS that only allows scroll in one direction at a time.
