Amazon Chime SDK React Component Library V3 Plan

The Amazon Chime SDK JS team is planning for the next major version v3.0.0 to:

• Update meeting configuration to allow builders to customize more meeting session configuration from JS SDK.
• Add logger for React Library to replace console.log.
• Improve device selection APIs such as idempotency, update from device id → device object.
• Improve unnecessary re-rendering of the providers/components.
• Migrate changes in Amazon Chime SDK JS v3.

amazon-chime-sdk-component-library-react@v3.0.0-beta.0 has been released. You can find more info from CHANGELOG.md.
We also start a migration doc from v2 to v3 that will be updated with all the changes that are not backward compatible.
The main changes in the first beta build is:

• Add styling guide documentation for customizing SDK and UI component CSS.
• Overhaul the meeting configuration to allow passing in MeetingSessionConfiguration objection from amazon-chime-sdk-js in meetingManager.join to allow for more flexibility.
• Remove useBandwidthMetrics hook as we already have useMediaStreamMetrics as well as remove legacy metrics videoDownstreamGoogFrameHeight, videoDownstreamGoogFrameWidth, videoUpstreamGoogFrameHeight and videoUpstreamGoogFrameWidth from the videoStreamMetrics returned by the useMediaStreamMetrics hook. More details can be found in the Amazon Chime SDK for JavaScript V3 changes ([V3] Legacy metrics migration amazon-chime-sdk-js#2086).
