I am working on a project where I create numerous different tilesets using the same format. It would therefore be useful to be able to export and import neighbour presets, since currently they are lost even when you save .laigter projects. It would be preferable to be able to use the same preset on different images aside from being able to save that preset, since different tilesets can use the same format.
Possible use cases include making texture for RPGs or sandbox games, both of which require various textures to be made. Textures can include the ability to connect with each other, but that comes with the drawback that making normal maps require a lot of effort
while setting up the tileset neighbours for each tileset (block).
Doing this is very repetitive and time-consuming. I believe this change would speed up the map creation workflow. It is currently the only big issue I'm facing with Laigter. Aside from that, it is definitely an amazing tool and the one that fits the most of my needs. Thank you!

Also came accross this issue and would appreciate a fix. But unfortunately seems so that the software is no more maintained.
Hi! The project is being maintained but the progress is very slow due to life and day work situations. There has been a few fixes merged but hadn't found time to make a new release.
I'm working on a fix for this, but is taking time and I sadly had other things that i need to do.
This feature is a bit complicated to solve with the current preset system. I think the system needs an overhaul anyways. Im thinking the best way to solve this.
