doesn't work, and based on most resources, will probably never work.
So, I'm currently looking for supported network cards on ebay.ph, OLX, and other places. I'll update this post as I try to find a supported network card.
The AR5B95 will work, and just requires a DeviceID fix.
Cheap and probably the most convenient to get a hold of, since the seller's just two trains away, as opposed to the other selections where I'll have to wait a little over two weeks for the card to arrive from some supplier overseas. I'll probably inquire in the morning.
~~AR9281 on eBay.ph (~P230.73 + P45.87 for postage)~~
The AR9281 will work out of the box.
This is pretty cheap too, but I've never bought anything from eBay.ph, or anything from a supplier overseas. Also, this will take 13-30 business days to be shipped. That'll take way too long. I might check out the first listing before I looking more into this.
~~AR9287 on eBay.ph (~P252.68 + P208.73 for postage)~~
The AR9287 will work, and just requires a DeviceID fix.
Same issues as the previous item.
UPDATE:
I bought the AR5B95, only to realize that this laptop doesn't have a half mini PCIe port, but it has an M.2 NGFF port.
The only compatible adapter right now is a BCM94352Z from Broadcom, and here are the listings I found on eBay.ph.
Alternatively, I'm looking into getting a USB Wi-Fi adapter instead. I'll look for some compatible adapters on Lazada and other sites later in the week.
