Font rendering in the new text tool is bad

Not related to slicing

To Reproduce
Add a text object. Kerning for letter pairs are not being rendered.
Expected behavior
Nice looking text.

The poor kerning is especially noticeable between the "r" and "s" and then "P" and "e".
This font is simply Arial Black but this is happening on the majority of fonts I choose.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Macintosh - M1 processor running 12.6.3
  • Version Slicer Version 1.5.0.61

It has been fixed in v1.6 released on github.
