Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Add a feature to save current coordinate into a POI list
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great if there was a button to quickly save the current position to a list.
Alternatively, it could save metadata, such as date/time, precision, number of satellites, etc, to the POI description.
The POI list could be shown in a simple map view.
And it would be great if the POI list could be exported and shared in the most common file format (kml, csv, etc)
Describe alternatives you've considered
There are other GPS apps that are not open source, such as GPS Test and GPS Status, both have such capabilities, but none of them are open source projects. More general apps, such as Google Maps can't be trusted, as they not always use the satellite data and can't add useful information to the metadata.
This feature would make this app even greater for science and engineering projects, by allowing to collect in situ data and analyzing it afterwards.
By the way, thank you very much for this great project.
