I would love to use kamal for our SMTP servers over at mailpace.com - but kamal-proxy only supports HTTP, which complicates matters somewhat.
Based on a quick read through of the source it looks like it would be quite challenging to do this as HTTP is assumed everywhere. However I imagine that it would be quite useful to orchestrate even more services than just HTTP with Kamal, for many organizations (maybe even basecamp?).
Ideally a future kamal proxy release would be extendable with plugins that support any TCP protocol.
