Unable to style an inline selection in Safari Version 17.0 (19616.1.27.211.1) #1097

Describe the bug or issue here…

Steps to Reproduce

Visit the Trix demo at https://trix-editor.org
Select part of a word, or multiple words, (just not a single word.)
Click the Bold button.
The Bold won't be applied.

The style tools still work on single word selections.

Details

Trix version: 2.0.6
Browser name and version: Safari Version 17.0 (19616.1.27.211.1)
Operating system: MacOS 14.0 (23A344)

@brendon we noticed this in our applications too. #1095 should fix the issue. We'll cut a release with the fix as soon as possible.

Fixed in v2.0.7.
