Currently we recommend people to ensure the bot has ratelimits disabled to make sure things like invites to chatrooms work with minimum delay. This, while acceptable for a first release, should be improved and made more robust in a future release. See discussion for details.

There is a new admin API coming to Synapse that will allow for this more easily than the manual database mucking that is required currently.

MSC3059 and Synapse PR 9648 are slightly different and changes to Synapse will be required if MSC3059 lands.
