webmock breaks with latest Excon?

Haven't been able to pin point where the issue lies, but I have some simple webmocked specs that break when I move up on Excon version. Naturally I first though the issue was in Excon, but I haven't been able to produce a stub setup with only excon that breaks in the same way. Original discussion here: excon/excon#870
