Somehow reading the clipboard causes it to lose the rich formatting.

This seems to be an odd behavior of x-get-selection-value (Windows) and x-get-selection (Linux) - will need to look into those to see what is going on.

I believe this is related to the issue (#15) that I opened today. Could you try the fix I suggested?
