Draft updates for Form 28 - Transfer

Transfers will be released to BC Registries staff first, followed by a release to Qualified Suppliers and Service BC. For the latter release, the form should be updated to capture all information in the application in the new order, ensuring separate data fields for each piece of data collected.

• draft updates for the Form 28 ensuring the ordering is the same as the user interface
• consistency is key. Please reference previously created forms and copy the formatting for sections/components that exist in those forms as well (e.g. submitting party has already been designed for a past form so if there is submitting party in the transfer use the submitting party design from the past form)
• Once complete send for staff review. Final sign off will be required from Megan/Sinead.

I have reviewed a draft Form 28 with Sharon. Once she has gone over it again I'll schedule a meeting with Kevin/Kim to review it.

Thank you @catherinecarlson ! Rather than a meeting, could the form be distributed for review? Because we are trying to build up internal support could you send it to Amanda instead of Kevin/Kim. Amanda could let us know if she feels Kevin or Kim's insight is necessary. Beyond them, it'd be awesome to have Fareen and myself included in the review, and Sharon cc'd so she can see any updates that others are suggesting:)

One minor update has taken place with the version above. It moves the MHR Registration number from the staff only section into Section 1 which is completed by the client. This has been sent to Sharon.

Items form yesterdays meeting have been addressed. V 1.6 has been updated in the following ways. These changes have been made and the updated form has been sent to Sharon.

• Add serial number to manufactured home description
• Updated Manufactured Home location to use Section C from old form which includes both civic and actual address (manufacturers lot, dealers lot etc)
• Added question to registered owner section noting “Where the seller is a corporation’organization, did the entity exist at the date the transfer was executed”
• In the MHR ownership section, moved the placement of the owner type boxes to the top to be consistent with the appendix
• In the MHR ownership section and appendix B updated the line for tenants in common information to request a client provide tenancy type and ask for the group number and ownership interest in the case of tenants in common.

The form above has been approved by Megan and Sinead. For spacing, these's a need to ensure a space is included between OF and ALL in section 5 for "NAME OF ALL OWNERS" as the screenshot doesn't clearly show a space. @fareenr @daniwilliamson can you advise on the current process to get this form work started? The approved draft is V 1.7 in the comment above.

The form is with the designer to get started. I noted that the URL provided in the Instructions is really long: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/housing-tenancy/owning-a-home/manufactured-home-registry
I'm concerned that a URL in a PDF with a path running more than one full line is likely to interfere with readability and entry for the user. Can you please provide an alternative, or a short URL??
