Beeper Mini constantly needing to refresh my Apple ID #10
Comments
Okay I found the solution although it's not an ideal one, no other devices on your AppleID should use iMessage, I personally signed out of my iMessage on my VM and this problem fixed for me. |
It sounds like the issue here does come from having other devices on your apple ID - I'll try to look into this soon. Since #11 seems to be caused by the same root issue, I'll close it and we can use this issue as the main area to discuss this type of issue. |
I'm having the same issue except my jailbroken iPhone is the only device that I have linked to my Apple ID. There's something else at play here. |
Having this problem as well |
I'm also having this issue. this was not an issue prior to needing an iphone to generate the registeration code for beeper mini. now i do have beeper cloud connected to imessage, but i generated that locally with my macbook. this refreshing apple id happens so frequently it makes beeper mini pointless to use. |
Same here after I put in the code, it stays on the creating specific password page |
Same here. Helped a little bit to change the battery settings on my android to avoid letting the app sleep or close, but that only works for like an hour or two instead of every 15 minutes. |
I am also facing this issue with my jailbroken iPhone SE1. This message comes up for me just about every hour. |
I'm seeing this too. Sadly I don't think they're supporting Beeper Mini at the moment. |
When I link my Apple ID on Beeper Mini my phone number seems to get de-registered after a few minutes. When I open Beeper Mini, it then prompts me to sign into my Apple ID which works fine. I'm able to send and receive messages again but a few minutes later have to repeat the process.
Seems like it may have something to do with having other Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID for iMessage but not completely sure. I say that because I signed out iMessage on all devices everywhere1, then set up beepserv and beeper mini from scratch, this time not linking an Apple ID and it's been working fine for about 30 minutes.
1If I'm signed into iMessage using the same Apple ID as the iMessage account used on the beepserv iPhone on another device (in this case a M1 Mac) it seems to require signing into an Apple ID when setting up Beeper Mini with the registration code.
