There is not currently any type of validation to be sure that csharpier doesn't screw up an xml file when formatting it. Could this be as easy as parsing the before and after and comparing the resulting xml string using the standard xmlwriter?
There is a lot less to xml and it doesn't get new language features every year so the likelyhood of there being issues this will detect is a lot lower. Maybe it isn't needed.
