Question about play button for animated spread- date of June 3, 2020

I was wondering why the timeline of the spread - for the animated part- stops at 6/3/2020? Instead of going all the way through September 10/the current date?

We were not updating the data as case loads became too large. We are going back with a new automated data soon.
