Talk title

Back to the roots of the web: no tools, no frameworks

Abstract

Ever feel annoyed by the complexity of today's javascript toolchain and the many frameworks? With the latest developments on the web platform, it is slowly becoming feasible again to go back to the origins of the web: just you, a text editor and a webbrowser.

In this talk, I will take you through the experience of building a PWA chat app with "modern" javascript, but without any build tools or frameworks, just vanilla javascript.

Hey @bwindels, happy to see you here! Hopefully this will be a bit easier to manage than Twitter DMs. Anyway, I've added you to our waitlist and we'll reach out again when we have a better idea of our 2020 schedules 😊
