Error: Cannot find module "." #27

I've tried many different ways to use the getmac module but I keep getting an error;

Error: Cannot find module "."
12 | require('getmac').getMac(function(err, macAddress){

Please help me - I've even deleted the node modules and reinstalled everything.

Could be fixed in v1.4.1
