Angular 18 & 19 support

Angular 18 support appears to be implemented with d364710, but the latest release 812fa1a does not include this fix. Will there be a new release?

Also, Angular 19 was released last week on Nov. 19 and needs support. Is this something the authors are interested in doing or will you accept PRs?

• What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?

Using the latest release of this library currently caps the Angular version to 17. If the authors are interested in maintaining support the library needs to keep track with the Angular releases.
