Describe the bug
If two genes have the same alternative names, the user should be informed or the more relevant name should be chosen.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Search PREP
Expected behavior
The PREP gene listing should be shown (Gene ID 5550). Instead the PITRM1 gene (Gene ID 10531) is shown. This gene is also known as PreP.
Additional context
The official gene name should take priority before alternative names. In the best case just searching for gene names should produce a list of choices if an unambiguous choice can't be directly made.
The user should be provided with sufficient information to decide which gene they actually meant.
