Not 100% aware of how to reproduce it, but it's been now a few times that after starting bisq2, it will show notifications for a private chat that already happened and has no new messages. As soon as I open it, the new messages notification badge disappears, but it wasn't needed in the first place.
The only solution I found is to leave the private chat.

This is the same for mediation chats. The counter does resets to zero after viewing all notifications but on restart it is reset. I currently have 1,438 notifications for my mediation cases just because I have restarted Bisq 2.
I guess that with mediations, that makes checking for new messages impossible, unless you are up to opening each and every one of those manually to verify
You can switch between closed and open tickets, so I can ignore the notifications on the closed tickets. But it does mean that if someone messages me on an old ticket I will not see it. It also means I have to go though all the open tickets to see if they are any new messages. It is not too much of an issues with only 20 tickets a month but it does not scale well.
