Problems with "Password" section in "Manage profiles" dialog (was: How to configure a "local encrypted" profile?)

For testing purpose (#1672) I tried to setup a "local (encrypted)" profile. I never used EncFS before so I lack of knowledge.

Here I have a screencast. I try to setup a password but get a confusing error message back. Am I wrong or can BIT be improved here?

Might it be that the meaning of the field "Encryption" in the "Password" section is password?
I can setup the profile when the value in "Encryption" and in the separated "confirm password" dialog is the same.

Improve the GUI or leave it as it is because we will remove EncFS? 😆

This screencast shows the Manage profiles dialog in all four snapshot variants:

I assume the "Encryption" edit field is always the same. So just modifying its label to "Password" won't make sense in all snapshot variants.

This issue is bigger than I thought. It involves a re-design and refactoring of the "Manage profiles" dialog. I have several ideas how to improve the usability of that dialog. But I won't touch this now or in the near future. There is also #1549 need to be decided first. Because of that I vote to close and leave it as it is until we start the re-design process.
