can't connecte to framagenda.org #155

Hi,

I tried with the latest f-droid version and with the marketplace version to configure my calendar from framagenda.org with this doc:
https://docs.framasoft.org/fr/agenda/Synchronisation/Android.html

I can't connect with the url from the doc (https://framagenda.org/remote.php/dav/) or with https://framagenda.org (and with my email address or my username).

What did I miss?

Hi,

this seems to be a local Android or connection problem since when trying to establish a connection it never gets through and the connection is being cancelled after 15 seconds.

Do you have any firewall or blocking apps installed? Did you try a different network? You could try to switch from WiFi to mobile for example.

I see the lines <head><title>405 Not Allowed</title></head> but I have exactly the same configuration on thunderbird and it's works :/

Does it work with this URL?

It's the url I use since the beginning (and I tried with https://framagenda.org, http://framagenda.org and http://framagenda.org/remote.php/dav/ too).
I have no firewall on my android and the others applications works without problem (especially in http/https).

If someone have an android 12, can you test by yourself please?

Well in this case your username/password is maybe wrong. Do you use 2FA and if yes, have you generated an app password?

I have the same issue since some months but i only notice now because the errors are hidden in a bunch of notifications. The server respond well (at least i can authenticate and have a xml response from firefox)

well i dont get it, i checked all application permissions in android, proxy configuration in app (tested "system" and "no proxy") foreground forced sync. The roaming is allowed even if i'm home (but the logs seems to say otherwise).
I have no wifi so i can only check on LTE but "only on wifi" option is not checked. i will try to check if it helps next time i'm near a wifi.
Using phone chrome with the basic auth against the url works

If i can test anything, tell me, i have adb on my computer and the phone is rooted (lineage os)

Can you connect to ncloud.zaclys.com on your Android browser?

yes, i can connect with the native android browser, which i believed was chrome but it is called Jelly. with icecat there is no problem connecting either.
When i look at the logs i see that there is some concurrent access with several requests. i tried to disable the agenda to have only contacts sync but it does not solve the problem.

Eventually i got it working using another server of my provider which is using nextcloud 27 instead of a slower one on nextcloud 24 and downgraded to davx5 4-2-6 but i bet it's more related to the servers.
