Some charts can be computed (directly) from other charts; the new stats architecture allows to perform such updates, so this should decrease load on the blockscout DB by improving efficiency of the queries.

For example,

  • averageTxnFee = txnsFee / newTxns
  • averageGasPrice = txnsFee / delta(gasUsedGrowth)
