[BUG] Which version opens Gmail?

Describe the bug
All pages seem to load fine except Gmail

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to your gmail email
2. Click on login if not in already
3. Scroll down to anywhere, it is all over the page
4. See error that all is in some sort of compatibility mode

Expected behavior
I expect to see the usual Gmail interface

• OS: El Capitan 10.11.5

I had version 115 but it started to freeze so I tried the latest 1303823.tar and then checked with AI that 109.0.5414.119.1.tar was compatible with El Capitan but that does not open Gmail at all and then tried 124.0.6367.207.1.tar but on boot that just downloads 100Mb and then crashes (I have the
~ david$ /Volumes/Docs/david/Library/Application\ Support/Chromium/optimization_guide_model_store read only

Should I just download the 115 again and suck it up?

Answering my own question I stopped at version

Please comment if you found a newer version that works.
