Some people I know wished that if Bluesky or ATProto itself has the ability to hide following and/or follower counter to prevent other people comparing the ratio of their followers and also for privacy reasons.
Describe the solution you'd like
Adding some options to hide following counter and follower counter on our profile via Settings within Privacy section.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I'm sorry if I don't have any alternatives for it.
Additional context
Twitter has no ability to do so, but some ActivityPub-based software like Mastodon or Misskey is able to do that.

I think that actually this could potentially be pushed even further.
I know this is not exactly what you're proposing, but what I would like to see is a best-effort flag, that views should do their best-effort to abide by, to hide the following and follower counts for a specific user.
When that flag is on for that user, views should also do their best effort to not show that user anyone else's following and follower counts.
(I would also like to see something similar for like counts, reply counts, repost counts... numbers in general. But this is a good start.)
