For a next version, the usage of international code lists should be evaluated. Check with Domenic Schneider (GS1) from the working group.

Closing this as part of the "end of 2024" pruning effort. Please reopen if really needed and real work is planned.

@hurni and myself will keep an eye out on reusable international standards and codelists, as usual 😄
