Removing the link between an SE Publication and an ORA Object

At present, there are two ways to create a connection between an SE Publication and an ORA Object:

• specify the Pubs-id/ORA uuid pair in the Symplectic migration tool csv file
• deposit a file

The question: is there any way, at present, to remove the link between an ORA Object and an SE Publication?

(could we do this by putting a null value in the csv file for that publications id?)

Hi Tom,

Yes, you can effectively sever the connection by splitting the Symplectic ORA Record out of the object. Of course, there will still be a link, between the ORA item and a Symplectic Elements Object, but it will be to an isolated object. You could then merge that record into a different object if you wished.
