Beta Release 71 (3.0.71)
SkinChanger 3.0.71
The one where the mod actually works
Once again, this is a bleeding edge build and the features here may change before the mod is fully released.
The most notable feature in this change is that changing cape and skin is finally directly available whilst using the mod, both in a dev environment & in a forge environment.
Patch/Release Notes:
This change patches the issues with the coremod in a forge environment & will now allow the mod to load correctly, this was an oversight on my part.
Additionally, if all patches do not succeed then an error message will now be shown when trying to use the mod.
This is the final patch to the coremod.
There is only one issue holding me back from preparing for a public release which is the discrepancy between the rendering of the player in a forge environment, and in the development environment. The player renderer is heavily culled in the forge environment, however appears fine in the dev environment

Beta Release 70 (3.0.70)
Update build script, the mod will now load outside of the dev environment properly now.
A 2 letter issue in the build.gradle has been preventing the coremod loading all this time and I never realized 🙃

Beta Release 69 (3.0.69)
This update focuses on saving & loading mod settings, as well as a few additions to the settings menu.
- Setting for rick rolling your cousin 🙄
- Setting for moving cape model
- Setting for moving player model (if this is off the cape will also be off)
- Settings for Skin Type (steve/alex)
- Setting for API (mojang/ashcon)
- Players without a cape will now just have a white cape instead.
**NOTE**
If a patch is disabled, its corresponding option buttons will also be disabled; e.g disabling skin patch will disable all Skin changing options, or disabling the skin type patch will disable all alex/steve options.
On the backend
- Mod now saves asm patch toggles
- Mod now saves the api type being used
- Headers now support mass enabling/disabling of children
The magic number 69
This release is 4 kb larger than the previous release.
"Honestly the mod is getting close to being done, I've been able to tick off a lot of boxes over the past few days for the features, but we'll see how progress goes over the next few days."
