Can't "login" if first menu link is not Gallery

Describe the bug

(1) in Settings > Mode: Advanced > Navigation Bar > Links; set Albums in front of Gallery
(2) Log out or Go Private
(3) Go to server, enter credentials, click log-in
Expected: Logs in and takes me to Albums
Actual: Page appears to not log-in and stays on log-in page. Appending "/albums" to URL grants access.

• OS: Server on Synology Docker running Alpine Edge | Client: Ubuntu Firefox
