TypeError: Unicode-objects must be encoded before hashing #3

Sorry but I keep getting this error, tried on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04

addresshash = hashlib.sha256(hashlib.sha256(addr).digest()).digest()[0:4]
TypeError: Unicode-objects must be encoded before hashing

I tried "password".encode("utf-8") but it did not work
