Hey guys,

Every time I try to delete a folder or a file by right-clicking on it and then delete I get an error message. Here's the error that I get when trying to delete a file:

Error Deleting File
An error occured when trying to delete the file /var/www/html/imprimafm/public/css/style.css. (error Unknown)

Is that a user problem or a bug? FYI, I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 x86_64 with kernel 3.16.0-38-generic.

Cheers.

I have exactly the same issue on Ubuntu 15.10 at every brackets version.

Seems to be a permission problem. I tried to change it to 777 for all files and directories - delete not possible. Then changed the owner to me (same who starts brackets) - delete not possible. Then I copied the project to my home Dir (before it was: /var/www/html) - delete works. Running brackets in sudo mode works also.

No matter if running brackets with or without extension. No error message in the console.

Hope that helped
