Originally opened as adobe/brackets#6435

  1. Open a file and make some changes.
  2. Select Debug > Reload Without Extensions.
  3. When Brackets prompts you to save file, click Cancel.

Result: On Mac Brackets menu bar has only "Brackets" and "Window" menus. On Windows, nothing left on the menu bar.

@redmunds and@RaymondLim, fix committed. I also added the menu removal into all reloads per the third point in this comment: adobe/brackets#6411 (comment)

@RaymondLim agreed, good catch, this would have been a nasty bug. Thanks for finding it.
