Originally opened as adobe/brackets#7752

Steps to reproduce :

Open Brackets
Goto File > Open
Don't select any file in the Open window, instead go to Desktop and select any js file to be opened up with Brackets

Results : Brackets Crashes
OS : Mac (Not sure if same is happening on windows)
