Feature suggestion

Could we pretty please get a feature that disables the automatic code and tab insertion? I can't stand when I am coding and it automatically inserts the / brackets and inserts a tab. I do not want this program manipulating my coding, as I believe that this eventually leads to bad habits in coding. I do not like tabs or any blank space in my coding at all, I like all of my code to sit on the very left of the page so that my html/php files are not full of unnecessary data. I am a minimalist coder, I do not care to prettify my coding. Thank you in advance for your time and attention on this issue because it drives me absolutely bonkers.

PS, can we also get rid of the getting started, index.html, main.css and screenshots menu tabs? I have no idea what they're even for, and to a user like me, they're completely useless and distracting from my coding tasks.
