You could utilize the existing Visibility core meta box if possible?

We will want the post to be published so that correct URLs etc are generated. later let this plugin hide the URL.

How about moving the settings under WP's metabox - https://cl.ly/qbRd

Looks good. The string below the checkbox can be made smaller
