Description

Hello, hope all's well!

I'm not too sure if this a bug or not, but I'll report anyway since it's a feature request too. Whenever you adjust/move bookmarks from the upper right drop down menu (Customize and control Brave > Bookmarks) or Bookmarks Bar (Ctrl+Shift+B) it closes the entire menu with each change, while deleting bookmarks from the same menu doesn't. This can be a pain when moving more than a few links above or below eachother.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to your bookmarks via the upper right drop down menu (Customize and control Brave > Bookmarks) or Bookmarks Bar (Ctrl+Shift+B).
  2. Move a bookmark above or below another.

Actual result:

Moving a bookmark above or below another closes the entire menu causing you to reopen all over again. This can become a pain when organising more than a few bookmarks/favourites.

Expected result:

  1. Navigate to bookmarks from the upper right menu (Customize and control Brave > Bookmarks) or bar (Ctrl+Shift+B)
  2. Move a bookmark above or below another
  3. Menu remains open till you click away.

Reproduces how often:

Happens everytime.

Great suggestion - I often run into this myself and end up using the bookmark manager to organize things:

does anyone know of any browser extensions or experimental feature flags that can fix this behavior? Or do we have to wait for this to be fixed upstream in chromium?

Is this possible to be fixed with a Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey Userscript or something?
