Open up any torrent file via it's magnet link and then results below.

Even happens with the Sintel file from the WebTorrent website.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a torrent via it's magnet link.
  2. Hit the Start Torrent button.

Actual result:

Expected result:

Show the list of files that the torrent file contains download.

Reproduces how often:

Every torrent file via loading it's magnet link

Brave version (brave://version info)

Brave 1.16.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.183 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision 0b568b034b8f7994697cb341eeca5979b84151cc-refs/branch-heads/4240@{#1374}
OS Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.1139)

Version/Channel Information:

  • Can you reproduce this issue with the three other releases? - Don't really have the time to test, sorry.

Other Additional Information:

  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? - No
  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? - No
  • Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? - N/A

https://webtorrent.io/torrents/sintel.torrent immediately shows the torrent files for me when i click start; @feross could this be a network-related issue?

I also tested with the Sintel magnet link and it worked immediately.

@Bj007pro It's possible that your network is blocking torrent traffic, which is sometimes done by companies/universities/free internet hotspots. Are you able to test this on another network?
