Brave used to have the ability to set up the proxy auto config from the settings GUI but then it was removed. It still supports it in the flags. I think it's a super useful feature that shouldn't be hidden from view for the average person especially since they may want to enable tor onion support for various extensions, which is currently impossible in Brave.

@ProofOfKeags Tor Extensions is coming in 1.20.x which is in Beta now see: #2761
