Metamask/Crypto Wallet not working for DeFi sites

For the past few weeks I have been using Brave and loving it with zero issues working on DeFi projects. A couple nights ago Brave just stopped responding to connection requests to my wallet from PooCoin and more, and it doesn't even send commands to the ledger. I had to resort to switching completely to Firefox to get Binance and MetaMask/Crypto wallet working again properly. It works flawlessly in firefox but not Brave. This is also on Pop!_OS 20.04 Linux, a fork of Ubuntu.

I only have the following extensions mostly for different cryptocurrencies:
Binance Wallet
Crypto Wallets
GNOME Shell Integration
Hashpack
KeePassXC Browser
Oasis Wallet
Solflare Wallet
Yoroi Wallet

Steps to Reproduce

1. Attempt to connect wallet to Poocoin, Dextools, Pancake Swap, Raydium or other.
2. See Metamask/Crypto wallet menu,
3. Never connects to site or sends request to ledger
4. Move to Firefox recreate all steps with no issue

Actual result:

No response from Ledger or even the site has not been logged in with the wallet at all

Expected result:

Connect as the wallet with the public viewkey or allow signing on the device

Reproduces how often:

It's every single time now. Clearing Cache and Cookies sometimes helps but not always

  No, but haven't imported all wallets completely

Was able to replicate this last night with a friend trying Temple wallet and Ledger doing some DeFi stuff. He was on Windows 10 Pro and the solution was the same, we had to move to Firefox to use our ledgers.

Could you try using Brave Nightly or try again in 1 week with the new Brave Wallet? Things will migrate to it on Release channel when you go to brave://wallet, but you can still get back to the old wallet if you need to.
