linux: nightly does not start anymore since 1.48.62 #27479

I can start brave by deleting localstate file in user data folder |
@slynobody anything on brave://flags? |
There was a similar upstream bug, i wonder if the problem could be related to your specific configuration https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1268758&q=gdk_wayland_window_set_dbus_properties_libgtk_only&can=1 |
after deleting the whole localstate (while selectively injecting old files to get back at least some of the preferences, tweaks etc.) the problem can be fixed (if you really want to reconfigure everything from scratch in some areas) |
Description
After a regular apt-update, brave does not start anymore (debian / wayland), last 3 revisions.
Steps to Reproduce
Actual result:
crash (could it be an amd-gpu-specific bug because on an intel machine this does not occur)
Expected result:
starting app, under wayland as well as under x11 on every wayland-display
Reproduces how often:
every time
Brave version (brave://version info)
1.48.62
