Hi,

a relative attribute like

volnoti-show 10+

would be incredible handy!

You could for example just type

bindsym XF86AudioRaiseVolume exec "amixer -q sset 'Master' 5%+ && volnoti-show 5+"

in i3wm-config and skip the usual scripting.
