In order to improve the offline capacity of this application, it should become a PWA. However, in a PWA, having an icon in mandatory.
Technical requirements
Requirements related to PWA are detailed in the following MDN guide: define your app icons.
It is best to create an SVG file so it can be derived in the appropriate icons, either at compile time or beforehand.
Although it is not the same thing, this logo will be also used as a favicon and should therefore be viewable in a very-small size.
Design idea
One idea is a post stamp representing a bottle of sake. No too much details, maybe just a contour drawing. It could be in various styles, but I think the flat design would render best for the favicon.
Here is a few ideas for the shape of the bottle:
And for the look of the stamp: https://media.istockphoto.com/vectors/postage-stamp-outline-icon-vector-eps10-postage-stamp-vector-sign-vector-id1141010279
Obviously, it would be better if it fits with the current application theme, which is Minty (both light and dark themes are currently used).
