Hello i am using an RX470 card, 3 of them.
Windows 7 and Windows 10 , no idea why , but when i start this variant of SGMiner it doesnt even start it goes back to the prompt.

What can i do to give you detailed logging? or verbosity of the warning/errors messages?

Thanks.

You can add -L log.txt to your bat file to enable logging. If you post the logs here I can help you debug.

Hello, im so sorry i didnt even see this response.
I thought i would post my issue and then just go cry in the corner because its been months and still today i cant get sgminer to work properly for many algorithms.
I do not know what the issue is.
I would really like to learn and understand what the issue is.
Go example in Nicehashminer legacy for AMD it is starting sgminer for x16r but its just sitting there i can see the dos window. but it is doing sweet bugger all.
Even if i try manual command lines for different pools i dont understand what the heck the issue is, it just goes back to the prompt.

I have the same problem on linux (Debian 10) my logs show an error saying No AMD Platform found. Please manually specify OpenCL platform I have an AMD GPU (RX 5700XT) in my system and it's my only GPU so something isn't right. The documentation is not great so I'd appreciate a hint on how I can specify my OpenCL platform. I assume it's a flag and not something that needs to go into a config file?

Edit: After adding --gpu-platform 0 I now get an error that looks like this Error -1: Getting Device IDs (num) followed by clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable
