Hello!

First of all thanks for this fantastic plugin. For the most part it works great and it's awesome to play with.

It appears at the moment that smart connections only appear for items in my root folder. Anything within a subfolder gives a sort of blank view.

Based on the # of files embedded (and the fact it manages to cite them sometimes in smart chats) I'm pretty sure they're getting embedded, and I don't have any of the folders in the list of exceptions.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help!

Hi @Kookri and thanks for the report and screenshot 😊

What happens when you click the blank area of the Smart View?

Please also check the developer console logs for errors and screenshot those. Particularly, an error should appear when you click the blank area of the Smart View (where the Smart Connections should render) 🌴

Hey Brian. No activity appears to happen when I click within the blank area. For added context, if I'm in a note where it works, and then navigate to a note where it doesn't (IE one within a folder), the smart links for the old note remain in the smart note area.

Changing notes does seem to trigger render_nearest, but doesn't trigger "finding connections for".

Screenshot attached - the links section has the nearest results for a previous note that exists at the root level, which doesn't appear to have refreshed when I click the one within my literature notes folder.
