Pin a tab (or change width of tab)

I'm not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if we could pin a tab. Basically, this is just changing the width of the tab, so any other mechanism that could change the width of the tab would be acceptable.

It's not only about changing the width but also ensure the tab is stuck before unpinned tabs. Pinned tabs must also remains sortable, but only between them.
