Checklist

  • I am using the latest version
  • I checked, but didn't find any duplicates (open OR closed) of this issue in the repo.
  • This issue contains only one bug. I will open one issue for every bug report I want to file.

Steps to reproduce the bug

Actual behavior

The app will forget where it was, jump to the top of the feed, and then start a refresh (last part likely due to background refresh). This is especially time-consuming when you don't automatically mark passed feeds as 'read', and you have to traverse through the prior feeds again

Expected behavior

The app switches from landscape -> portrait while keeping its place in the scrolled feeds

Device info

  • Android version/Custom ROM version: MIUI 14/Android 13
  • Device model: Xiaomi Pad 6
