So, guys! The most important work is done! The thing can safely be handed over to you.
Some fine-tuning is still needed here and there, and a few functions from the old version below 1.0 have been removed and could possibly come back. Overall, we now have a cleaner, more reliable, and faster codebase with a refreshed UI in the Windows 11 style. I will continue to integrate BloatyNosy more with the community (not Microsoft AI 😏 ) in the next versions—Reddit, GitHub, etc. recommendations — to provide users with more security in usage.
Keep being diligent and report bugs and your suggestions for upcoming versions.

Hi everyone, it's been a while since there has been any activity on my open-source projects (just can't find the time), and the list of requests, feedback, and issues has grown long. Especially my last project, BloatyNosy has gained considerable popularity and has practically become the standard tweaker/debloater in the Windows 11 scene with millions of downloads.

I have taken this opportunity to give the latter project a more substantial update. I've started working on it in the last few days and would like to present a preview to you. In addition to refreshing the UI, especially the main user controls, the list of changes under the hood is quite extensive. Try it out and send feedback.

[!] Hey all, some info to all those still using the deprecated Microsoft Store version. Please manually uninstall that version and switch to the open-source GitHub version. Development on the Store version has been discontinued, and the update mechanism no longer works. Some features are also no longer accessible.

I now also have an official statement from Microsoft explaining why the app was removed from the Store: 'Your submission does not have a valid code signing certificate.' This was definitely not correct under the "old" Store policy (Finally, the app was approved and certified). They must have recently readjusted the policies for Win32 packages. However, I've had enough with the Store anyway. Unfortunately, every scam app manages to get in. The foolish ones are the developers who also invest their energy in an operating system to make it more appealing to a few more customers

  • Numerous minor fixes and lingering issues that came with the major 0.70 update have been resolved. Additionally, the UI has been refreshed.

UPDATE: The app remains banned from the store.
A request on Twitter also yielded no response. It's truly unfortunate and sad that they don't even communicate.

After yesterday's excitement - about the app being kicked out of the MS Store - I had to relax a bit and started working on the next big release. This release includes numerous fixes and a significant overhaul of the UI.

Feedback/comment:Thumbs up if you like it and laugh about it if you prefer the old version.

BloatyNosy is no longer available in the Microsoft Store and was banned by Microsoft overnight.
Numerous update attempts have been rejected, each time with a new excuse, and now it is stated officially that the app does not have a valid certificate, even though it was inside for months before (Previously, all Microsoft Store apps - native UWPs for example and also Win32s - were hosted and signed by the Microsoft Store and received a Microsoft signature). The store continues to be a tragedy. It's a shame for my precious time.
I'm annoyed. If you want me to calm down, send me a like and a dislike to @microsoft 🥲
The download of BloatyNosy will continue to be available only here on GitHub.

In this build, all limitations of the MS Store version have been removed once again. Additionally, the app is also provided as an MSI installer.

  • Improved BloatyNosy' BloatFinder app
  • Improved option of BloatFinder to add bloatware rated by community
  • Added option to BloatFinder to add the 10 most hated apps of Windows 11 to recycle bin
  • Revised import of profiles completely. BloatyNosy is now shipped with three preconfigured profiles (very basic OOBE, Gaming and Debloat profile). To do this, go to the three-dot/Kebap menu, select your desired profile, and click on 'Load profile'. I recommend the OOBE/Out-of-Box-Experience profile.
  • Allowing applications to run in the background was declared as an undesirable function. (Function in Privacy > Disable apps running in background)
  • Improved removal/uninstall of Widgets feature
  • Some features enjoy better naming
  • Explanation/legend for the two color indicators (problem/already fixed) has been added to the kebab menu
  • Minor fixes
