It would be extremely helpful if the hyperlink handling were more capable of handling hyperlinks created using Typora. This is especially true for local relative links to open files or start applications.

Can you give me some examples, what exactly is Markdown Viewer not capable of? I just looked up Typora's reference for links and the only case I'm not aware of spontaneously, is the "reference link". Do you mean this? Or do you have other examples, which the application does not handle or not handle as you might expect?

Also, to be able to open local, arbitrary files via Markdown Viewer is important for myself and therefore supported basically since the beginning. I'm wondering, which case (or cases) are not handled properly.
